Church Groups
St Beuno's Outreach
We meet on a weekly basis at the Presbytery in St Joseph's,
to consider the readings for the next Sunday mass.
There
are two groups that meet at the Presbytery:
1.
Tuesdays at 8pm
to pray some of the Sunday readings and not so much to study them.

Even if you have not been for ages, I do want you to know that you will be MOST WELCOME to come again. As always, you've not to come to every meeting, but the core of about 8-10 people find that the meetings are really worthwhile. They are always pleased they have come.If you know of someone else - Catholic or otherwise; church-goer or not - who you feel might benefit from the evenings, please don't hesitate to invite them to come with you. EVERYONE will be most welcome.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible to give to and to
receive support from others.

A note from Fr Damien Jack 19.9.2010
Dear Everyone,As I type this Pope Benedict is about to return to Rome; his visit to Scotland and England over. Both the Vatican and the majority of the media are in agreement that his time with us was far more successful than was at first anticipated.
The Pope brought us the beauty and the challenge of Christ's message as it applies both particularly to Western Europe and to many other parts of the world too. For all this - let us give thanks.
And now we move on praying for each other that we will respond positively to this challenge.
In the context of the Pope's visit, next Sunday's Psalm (145) and the Gospel are both encouraging and demanding. We may well find two of the "one minute" texts on the back page of the Prego are most appropriate and helpful: "Continue to fill us with your gifts of love" [from the Opening Prayer], and "As a person dedicated to God, you must aim to be saintly and religious, filled with faith and love, patient and gentle." [2nd Rdg].
I look forward to seeing you there if you can manage to come. And do remember that the group is open to anyone, so do bring someone along if you think it would be of help to them.
Damian SJ
