Year of Faith begins on 11 October 2012, on the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Ecumenical Vatican Council - In “Porta Fidei” Benedict XVI writes that this “door of faith is always open”. This means that no one can feel excluded; asking the question of faith does not mean withdrawing oneself from the world, rather it means being conscious of the responsibility that one has.

Revival of Parish Summer Fair, SATURDAY, JULY 6th between 1—4pm in the School grounds, a great opportunity for the Parish to come together, have fun and also raise some money for the Church. In order to do this and make it a success, ideas for stalls and attractions and (very important) helpers to run these are needed. Will YOU help please?

Bishop Declan Lang of Clifton said that Mrs Asia Bibi, who has been sentenced to death, is “an innocent woman of great courage and faith”. On the third anniversary of her imprisonment (June 2012) he called on the Pakistani authorities to release her. Her imprisonment on Pakistan's death row continues...

Please consider praying for her release, signing the international petition for her release at Callformercy.com, keeping up to date with this at Freeasiabibi.co.uk

St Joseph's Food Share Appeal

Conwy Food Share

We would like to encourage you to please continue donating food items for the Conwy Food Share.

The Food Share continues to be very busy donating on average 10 parcels of food a week to needy people across Conwy. The recipients of the food come from all walks of life and all age groups. They are mainly single, but we do have families and single parents. As well as food we also need financial donations to buy perishables such as milk and bread.

Thank you for your continued support.

Please bring along tins and dry goods to help people in Conwy who are not able to afford food for themselves and their families.  See the Food Share page for further information.
